PARENT SOCIALS AT NEW STUDENT CONFERENCES

Though not required, family members are encouraged to attend New Student Conferences with their Aggie.  There are programs and services specifically designed for family members.  Family members are welcome to participate in the entire conference by following the family schedule.  Family members will check-in during NSC Check-in to receive a schedule and a Texas A&M Family Calendar.

Family members follow a "family schedule".  They will join their students for some programs and they will also participate in programs specifically designed for family members. There will be certain programs specifically designed for students in which family members will not attend. For a complete student & family schedule, visit New Student Conference Schedule.

The Federation Eighth Vice President and other Aggie Moms, along with faculty, staff, Orientation Leaders and current students meet with parents during Parent Socials as part of the "family schedule".  This is a chance for parents to relax and take a break from the hectic schedule of the New Student Conference and learn about being an Aggie Parent and an Aggie Mom.  A panel of current students will provide the opportunity for extended Q&A to address any questions or concerns.
